This remote role integrates technology and telehealth capabilities to ensure seamless communication with clients, families, and fellow team members. While you’ll be working from home, you will remain an integral part of an outpatient office atmosphere by utilizing our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for documentation and client management. Additionally, you will connect with colleagues through virtual meetings and collaborative platforms to foster a supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a primary point of communication with families, providing regular updates on client progress and addressing concerns proactively.
\n
• Facilitate various therapeutic modalities including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, applying Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) principles.
\n
• Conduct Family Orientations and participate in Welcome Presentations to effectively introduce families to our therapeutic approach.
\n
• Timely and accurately complete essential documentation such as assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with established standards.
\n
• Utilize tools like Microsoft Word, Outlook, and EMR systems for managing client data and scheduling appointments.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings as well as clinical supervision sessions to ensure alignment with client treatment goals and best practices.
\n
• Engage in professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and conferences as a representative of Positive Progress Counseling Center.
\n
• Manage your schedule efficiently to meet the needs of clients while achieving organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This therapist role focuses on young individuals, specifically teenagers and young adults, who face a variety of mental health challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your compassionate approach will play a crucial role in guiding these clients towards sustainable healing and growth, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current registration in the state of Florida as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Psychological Associate is mandatory.

• A firm understanding of therapeutic techniques tailored for individual, group, and family therapy sessions is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven experience working with adolescents and young adults within mental health settings.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and experiences working with clients struggling with substance abuse or eating disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, accompanied by a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
