Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals and personal circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Offer educational support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans according to their evolving needs.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers in an integrated care model to ensure holistic treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest research developments in mood disorders to optimize therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at the Renewal Roots Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our therapeutic approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, allowing therapists to provide tailored interventions to vulnerable groups, including the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Your contribution will be pivotal in helping these clients navigate their challenges and find pathways to recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
