Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a flexible schedule by determining the number of weekly clients you wish to see, ensuring a balanced caseload.

• Utilize marketing support from our organization to develop and grow your personal practice effectively, attracting new clients.

• Deliver high-quality, customized support during therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to individual client needs.

• Utilize automated systems for verifying client insurance benefits, ensuring clients receive timely access to care without delays.
\n
• Document sessions in accordance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines to maintain proper records and track client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is centered on serving a diverse client population in Mount Vernon and surrounding areas. You will work with individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds, experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Our holistic approach strives not only to alleviate symptoms but also to empower clients toward self-discovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is required.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within New York State.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing therapy in a remote environment is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

• Experience working with trauma survivors and understanding trauma-informed care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
