Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of family dynamics, identifying key challenges and areas for improvement.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with families and couples to foster open communication and understanding.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed for families, tailoring methods to cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances.

• Guide clients in processing grief, addressing behavioral issues, and developing strategies for better home and school environments.
\n
• Document session notes and progress reports in compliance with state regulations to ensure high standards of practice.

• Educate clients about the implications of certain behaviors and encourage proactive positive choices.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care, offering a multidisciplinary approach to support families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LMFT will predominantly involve assisting families dealing with a range of issues including, but not limited to, relationship conflicts, parenting concerns, grief and loss, and adjustment to life changes. You will approach each family with an understanding of their unique cultural and contextual background, ensuring that your therapeutic practices resonate with their values and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts and compliance with all state-mandated requirements.

• Proficient understanding of family systems theory and best practices in therapy.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about industry advancements.

Compensation and Benefits\n
