Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple pay groups. This role will also support payroll reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Process and review bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll for multiple entities. Validate timesheets, employee data, wages, deductions, and payroll changes for accuracy. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries. Prepare payroll reports and support payroll reconciliations. Assist with payroll tax filings, year-end reporting, W-2s, garnishments, and multi-state compliance. Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records. Partner with Finance and HR on payroll updates and changes. Identify and implement payroll process improvements and maintain procedures and controls. Qualifications Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of payroll processing experience. Experience processing multi-state payroll and multiple pay groups preferred. UKG Ready experience preferred; Paylocity experience is also a plus. Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and resolve payroll issues. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to take ownership and improve payroll processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
