Payroll Specialist

Avant is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a major retail client. The Payroll Specialist will perform payroll administration, including processing, checking payroll, developing reports by researching and gathering information, maintaining payroll records, processing financial information for accounting purposes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth environment. The ideal candidate should have the following Experience: 3+ years of direct payroll experience including multi-state payroll. Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in payroll software, ideally UKG. Also proficiency in MS Excel Knowledge: In-depth understanding of tax regulations and payroll best practices, Additional Skills: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
