Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults who are navigating personal and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. By employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, you will support them in overcoming obstacles, fostering their resilience, and helping them achieve fulfilling lives. You will engage clients who present in outpatient sessions, often facing barriers in mental health access and requiring empathetic, individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
\n
• Proven experience working with clients with mental health/mood disorders in outpatient settings.

• Strong clinical skills in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate transparently regarding client progress and strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to document client interactions and progress efficiently.
