Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to understand their mental health challenges and develop tailored intervention strategies.

• Perform initial comprehensive assessments, determining the needs of patients and creating personalized care plans that prioritize effective treatment and support.

• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration by actively communicating with colleagues about treatment plans during patient rounds and through comprehensive documentation.

• Provide case management services to assigned patients, consulting with hospital and community resources to ensure comprehensive care approaches.

• Complete documentation promptly and according to departmental standards, maintaining ethical integrity and compliance throughout the care process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to implement interventions that support clients in achieving their individualized service plans.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Lifeline Counseling Solutions, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life transitions. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid mental health license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours per week or more, depending on your availability and client scheduling.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling environment, with a strong background in conducting assessments, developing interventions, and providing therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
