Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive and tailored to understand each patient’s unique experiences.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions aligned with patients’ cultural and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health issues, encouraging resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that patients receive an integrated approach to their treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong decision-making and crisis management skills.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, explore treatment options, and inform them about available community resources.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to share insights and collaborate on patient care strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatments, and an emphasis on cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, emphasizing culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic models.

• Exemplary crisis intervention skills with the capability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities with a proven track record of building rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate patient documentation.

• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
