As a full-time therapist, you will engage with clients remotely, providing essential mental health services that improve their overall well-being. Work Environment\n

In this remote role, therapists will use telehealth technology to conduct sessions, which allows for flexibility in meeting the diverse needs of our clients. Our operating hours run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient schedules. The role is designed for efficient workflow, focusing on client engagement and effective therapeutic practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs of patients, utilizing standardized tools and client interviews.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other relevant frameworks.

• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to the diverse backgrounds and specific challenges faced by clients.

• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that enhance community connection and provide psychoeducation on mental health issues.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure patients receive comprehensive care and support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring prompt and effective responses to mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, exploring treatment options and connecting them with community resources that can support their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, interdisciplinary meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Engage in continuous learning, keeping abreast of new research and advancements in mental health therapy to inform practice.

Our patient population includes individuals facing a variety of challenges—from anxiety and depression to more complex disorders like bipolar disorder and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and a solid grasp of evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated competency in conducting mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Proven experience in delivering therapy to diverse populations, with a focus on building rapport and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

• Ability to uphold professional ethics, sound judgment, and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating support groups.

• Knowledge of specific therapeutic techniques relevant to substance abuse and dual-diagnosis treatment.

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations is a plus.

• Previous telehealth experience or familiarity with telehealth platforms is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
