Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and families to tailor therapeutic interventions.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions based on the specific needs and histories of clients, fostering an environment of trust and support.
\n
• Thoroughly document all client interactions, including treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorizations within designated timelines.
\n
• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans tailored to each client's unique situation.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition for clients when therapy concludes.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, as well as our internal policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and education to maintain and enhance your clinical skills and competencies.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to discuss strategies and peer support initiatives.
\n
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training provided by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on diverse populations seeking mental health support for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families, ensuring that you will engage with a wide array of experiences and perspectives in your work.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field, resulting in licensure eligibility.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist in the State of Maryland (e.g., LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C).

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is highly preferred.

• Experience with culturally competent care practices and frameworks.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and billing processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
