Work Environment\n

As a fully remote role, our Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work from home, utilizing telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions and connect with patients. We maintain a supportive and collaborative virtual environment, emphasizing flexibility and work-life balance. Our standard work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of flexible hours to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that respect patients’ cultural and personal backgrounds, ensuring each assessment leads to a personalized treatment plan.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting approaches based on individual cultural contexts during therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to formulate coordinated treatment plans that holistically address patient needs.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that could support their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-S, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based interventions, and culturally responsive therapy techniques.

• Proven experience providing mental health services through individual and group therapy sessions.

• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities, with a temperament to handle emergencies effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with a variety of individuals.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
