Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapeutic strategies for clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to diverse groups, families, couples, and individuals, adapting techniques as needed to meet unique client needs.

• Utilize a variety of psychotherapeutic methodologies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Document and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in client interactions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers, to create comprehensive care plans for clients.

• Engage in continuous learning through workshops and professional development activities to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health research and therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in clinical practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
