Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create appropriate and individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Recording and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide holistic care to clients.

• Staying informed on current research in mental health through continued education, workshops, and peer consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your sensitivity to the unique backgrounds and needs of each client will be essential in creating a therapeutic alliance that fosters trust and encourages open communication. You will have the opportunity to specialize in key areas such as trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling, tailoring your approach to best meet client needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering counseling services, preferably within a clinical or telehealth setting.
\n
• A strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with a specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, or family and couples therapy will be strongly preferred. Experience in working with populations across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults, is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
