Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health statuses, applying clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, considering a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, providing clients with appropriate tools and strategies to manage their symptoms and enhance their mental well-being.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s treatment.

• Document client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with state and regulatory guidelines, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in EHR systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Grandview Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse demographic, including but not limited to adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health challenges. Our clients frequently grapple with various issues rooted in trauma, mental illness, and substance dependency, requiring culturally sensitive approaches and a commitment to promoting inclusivity in therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A minimum of four years professional experience in mental health counseling or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits\n
