Solutions Engineer

Acclaim is building the financial infrastructure that powers the global insurance industry. Insurance companies move billions of dollars every year across claims, premiums, commissions, and reimbursements, yet much of the underlying financial infrastructure remains fragmented and manual. About the role We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to help customers successfully adopt Acclaim from sales discovery through production launch. You'll translate complex business and payment requirements into technical solutions, guide customers through integrations, and help them get live quickly and successfully. You'll work at the intersection of customers, payments, and technology. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role for someone who is technically fluent, an excellent communicator, and energized by solving complex integration challenges. Who you'll work with You'll work directly with customers and collaborate closely with the founders, Account Management, Sales, Product, and Engineering. You'll partner with Account Managers throughout the customer relationship, owning the technical side of implementations and helping customers expand their use of Acclaim over time. What you'll do Lead technical discovery and solution design during the sales process, including product demonstrations and integration guidance. Partner with Account Management to drive customer implementations, technical workstreams, timelines, dependencies, and go-live readiness. Guide customers through API integrations, webhooks, file-based workflows, platform configuration, and other technical requirements. Coordinate testing, UAT, technical training, and production launches. Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues, bringing in Engineering when deeper technical expertise or product changes are required. Work alongside Account Management after launch as customers' technical needs and use of Acclaim evolve. Improve implementation processes, documentation, and repeatable solution patterns as Acclaim scales. What success looks like Within your first year, you'll have: Consistently moved customers from contract to production quickly and successfully. Accurately identified technical requirements during the sales process, reducing implementation surprises. Led well-managed implementations with clear timelines, ownership, and communication. Built trusted relationships with customer technical and operational teams. Established repeatable implementation patterns that reduce time to go-live. What we’re looking for Experience in solutions engineering, implementation, technical consulting, or another customer-facing technical role. Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, file-based integrations, and modern software systems. Experience leading customer implementations or complex technical projects. Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences. Strong project management, organization, and follow-through. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate effectively with engineering teams. Nice to have Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services. Experience in the insurance industry. Experience implementing enterprise SaaS products. Experience working with complex payment or financial workflows. Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
