Embark on a rewarding contract position serving students as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in an itinerant role across multiple locations near Dearborn and Hamtramck, MI. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while managing a manageable caseload of 30-40 students. The role is slated to start as soon as possible and extends through June 18, 2027, providing stability and growth in a school-based environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current OT license in Michigan in good standing
• Demonstrated experience supporting students in a school-based setting
• Capability to independently manage a caseload—no COTA supervision provided or required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
• Commitment to best practices in pediatric occupational therapy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessments, interventions, and therapy services to students with varied needs in multiple school locations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational goals
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with school and legal requirements
• Travel between assigned schools as part of the itinerant model (mileage reimbursement policies may apply)
• Provide consultation and support to school staff and families on occupational therapy strategies and recommendations
