Step into a meaningful contract role as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting students’ growth and independence. Provide hands-on therapy and collaborate with educators at multiple locations near Dearborn, MI. You’ll work onsite, managing a caseload of 30-40 students from now through June of 2027, making a long-term impact in every classroom you serve.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license for the state of Michigan (or ability to obtain before start)
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Ability to engage, motivate, and adapt interventions for school-aged children
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers and support staff
• Organized and efficient with documentation and time management
• Must be able to work onsite; remote/virtual options are not available
• Please note: COTA submissions are not accepted, as supervision cannot be provided.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 30-40 students
• Evaluate students and create individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with special education staff and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide training and resources for teachers and parents, promoting classroom success
• Maintain accurate and timely records as required by school policy and state regulations
