Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational setting near Pacoima, CA. This temporary role is designed to cover a team member’s leave from August 2026 through November/December 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school community.

This opportunity is ideal for credentialed SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience. Work Monday through Friday, 30 hours per week, managing a caseload of approximately 45 students. Onsite SLPAs are available, creating a collaborative work environment to help you focus on providing high-quality speech and language services.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP-CCC certification required
• Active California state licensure
• Experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
• Comfortable managing a mid-sized caseload
• Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech/language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with SLPAs, teachers, and special education staff
• Monitor and document student progress
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
