Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an immediate impact supporting students’ communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist covering a leave for the upcoming school year. This assignment runs from August 2026 through November or December 2026, providing the opportunity for a focused and rewarding experience. With an average caseload of about 45 students and support from onsite SLPAs, you’ll be able to concentrate on delivering meaningful therapy—and see measurable progress.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid speech-language pathologist license for California or eligibility to obtain
• Previous school-based experience preferred; passionate new graduates with CCCs are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with school staff, families, and support personnel

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech/language services for students in accordance with IEP goals
• Work closely with general/special education teachers and SLPAs on campus to optimize support
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education planning as needed
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and supportive therapy environment
