Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the presence and severity of mood disorder symptoms, employing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that incorporate their unique histories and goals, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to best suit individual client needs.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care practices, equipping them with knowledge to support their mental health journey.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and integrated treatment strategies.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans following ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You'll tailor therapy approaches to meet the distinct needs of a diverse clientele, acknowledging their cultural backgrounds and personal experiences to foster a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, along with a basic understanding of psychopharmacology for effective collaboration with prescribing clinicians.
