Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through individual interviews and standardized assessments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and understanding of client needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific challenges faced by each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the client’s cultural context.

• Facilitate regular therapeutic sessions, both in individual and group formats, to support clients in developing coping strategies and skills to manage their mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with external healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure clients receive the support they need.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing strong judgment and analytical skills to maintain client safety in high-stress situations.

• Document all client encounters and treatment plans accurately within our EHR system to maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

• Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment approaches, and any challenges faced in the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients facing various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and substance abuse. A strong emphasis is placed on culturally responsive practices to ensure that treatment is effective and respectful of each individual’s unique cultural background and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in the mental health field, with demonstrated ability to provide effective therapy to a diverse client population.

• Expertise in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment frameworks, combined with a sensitivity to cultural diversity and inclusivity in therapy.

• Proven ability to establish strong rapport with patients, utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
