Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility for your work-life balance while catering to the needs of our outpatient clients. The position operates Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend obligations, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care during regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their goals, preferences, and treatment options, tailoring individualized rehabilitation plans accordingly.

• Collaborate closely with a team of medical professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to design and implement comprehensive treatment programs that address the specific needs of clients.

• Maintain detailed case files for each client, ensuring accurate documentation of personal information, eligibility, insurance, and services provided.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly through sessions, documenting updates and adjustments needed to rehabilitation plans to ensure successful outcomes.
\n
• Provide continuous support and maintain regular contact with clients during their involvement in job training and occupational placement programs, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise.

• Engage with clients' families to discuss therapeutic goals, progress, and ways to enhance support systems for the client’s well-being.
\n
• Prepare timely documentation and reports that analyze client needs and suggest referrals to additional resources if necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work primarily with clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges. You will play a vital role in guiding clients through their rehabilitation journeys, leveraging your skills to help them attain personal goals and foster resilience in their everyday lives. Your contributions will help clients build practical life skills and enhance their emotional wellbeing, leading them toward a more integrated and fulfilling existence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in mental health treatment, particularly within residential or outpatient settings.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team while aligning with the organization’s mission.

• Strong clinical competencies, including expertise in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and comprehensive documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation setting.

• A background in vocational counseling or job placement programs will be advantageous.
