Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs, history, and treatment goals, developing customized treatment plans accordingly.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to help clients understand mental health issues and build a supportive community.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s treatment are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support clients experiencing acute mental health issues, utilizing intervention strategies to stabilize their conditions.

• Educate clients on coping mechanisms, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress and treatment effectiveness, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Stay informed of recent research and advancements in mental health practices to continually enhance therapy offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance use disorders. As a therapist, you will work compassionately with individuals, couples, and families, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet each client's unique experiences, cultural context, and specific mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and a clear understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.
