Work Environment

This position entails working onsite at our rehabilitation center, where a collaborative atmosphere thrives. You will be part of a small, close-knit team that includes two other Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our center is designed to facilitate hands-on therapy, featuring private treatment rooms and open gym spaces outfitted with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment. Your role will involve direct, one-on-one interactions with patients, fostering an environment of trust and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify each patient's goals and needs, formulating personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, dedicating one hour per patient, ensuring full attention and tailored care for optimal recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities to deliver treatments that improve mobility and functionality, focusing on minimizing medication reliance and deferring surgical interventions where possible.
• Design and implement comprehensive care programs utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise therapy.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout the treatment process to enhance their engagement and enhance overall outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain precise and detailed documentation of patient interactions and progress, adhering to regulatory standards and facilitating continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. This entails working with individuals of all age brackets and backgrounds who seek to regain their mobility. You will have the chance to support patients through every stage of rehabilitation—from initial assessment and acute care to long-term recovery—fostering a strong rapport built on empathy and understanding.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with an impeccable professional record free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to streamline clinical documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1-3 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of treatment strategies and patient care.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations, optimizing care plans to accommodate individual needs and limitations.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, enhancing patient care through effective communication and shared resources.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
