Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and rehabilitation needs, laying the groundwork for personalized treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor tailored therapy programs that incorporate a range of treatment modalities, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions to enhance patients' physical function and facilitate their recovery.
• Educate patients on effective techniques for pain management and increasing mobility, including joint protection strategies.
• Encourage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey, focusing on enhancing their independence and overall quality of life.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment provided, aligning with the best practices in our healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
• Analyze treatment outcomes, utilizing evidence-based methods to adapt plans in response to patient progress.
• Advocate for non-invasive treatment options to reduce reliance on medications or surgical interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at Serenity Motion Therapy primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on a holistic approach to rehabilitation, depending on each patient's unique situation, while engaging with diverse communities within the Saint Cloud area. By providing personalized and compassionate care, you will help facilitate meaningful improvements in their physical health and rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A demonstrated track record of ethical clinical practice with no disciplinary actions taken against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills, along with proficiency in developing effective exercise programs tailored to diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management and documentation.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to support patient engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic therapy environment is strongly preferred.
• Continuing education in specialized therapy techniques, including but not limited to sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, and pain management.

Compensation and Benefits

Serenity Motion Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
