Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' medical histories and current physical issues to establish effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that align with each patient's specific goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Administer therapeutic exercises to improve strength, mobility, and flexibility; adapt programs to continually meet changing patient needs.
• Employ manual therapy techniques, such as trigger point therapy and dry needling, to effectively reduce pain and promote recovery.
• Educate patients on body mechanics and at-home exercise routines, providing them with tools to manage their health independently.
• Monitor patient progress closely, documenting changes, and modifying treatment plans accordingly to enhance effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure the continuity of care and compliance with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a diverse patient population within the orthopedic realm, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and those living with chronic pain or other orthopedic conditions. The therapist will provide care to patients across various age groups, ensuring seamless communication and tailored treatment approaches for each demographic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a demonstrated ability to engage with patients effectively across differing age ranges.
• Experience with evidence-based practice and continuing education in specialized treatment techniques preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
