Job Description As a Security Guard Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, or security-related concerns. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
