️️‍♂️ Role Overview

This role focuses on helping customers choose the right sports and fitness equipment —from cardio machines and strength gear to general sporting goods like football, golf, baseball, softball and winter equipment. —by combining product expertise with a friendly, sales‐driven approach. The salesperson guides buyers through features, benefits, comparisons, and demonstrations to ensure they feel confident in their purchase.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers on the sales floor, online, or by phone to understand their fitness goals and recommend the right equipment.

• Demonstrate equipment features, proper use, and safety guidelines.

• Maintain strong product knowledge across cardio machines, strength equipment, accessories, and sporting goods.

• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and conversion goals.

• Keep the sales area organized, clean, and fully stocked.

• Assist with equipment setup, light assembly, or delivery coordination when needed.

• Track leads, follow up with interested buyers, and maintain customer relationships.

• Stay updated on new products, promotions, and competitive offerings.

• Support marketing efforts by helping create in‐store displays or online listings.

• Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales , fitness equipment , or sporting goods preferred.

• Strong communication and customer‐service skills.

• Ability to explain technical features in simple, helpful terms.

• Comfortable demonstrating equipment and performing light physical tasks.

• Goal‐oriented mindset with a track record of hitting sales targets.

• Basic computer skills for POS systems, CRM tools, or online listings.

• Passion for fitness, sports, or active lifestyles.
