The company fosters a professional, service-oriented environment for team members who are committed to operational excellence and long-term client relationships.## Role DescriptionThis is a primarily remote Business Development Manager role based in the Charlotte, NC area. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new property owner accounts, develop referral networks, and build strategic partnerships with real estate professionals and local organizations.Day-to-day responsibilities include:* Prospecting leads, conducting discovery calls and occasional in-person meetings.* Presenting Priority Property Group's services, and preparing proposals and management agreements.* Managing a sales pipeline, tracking metrics, and reporting on performance to leadership.* Collaborating with the property manager and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.* Supporting marketing initiatives, participating in industry events, and providing market feedback to help refine service offerings and growth strategies.## Qualifications* Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within property management, real estate, or related service industries.* Strong relationship-building, networking, and client-facing skills, with the ability to establish trust and maintain long-term partnerships.* Solid negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities, including preparing and delivering professional proposals and service overviews.* Comfortable working with CRM tools, sales tracking systems, and basic financial metrics related to property management and revenue growth.* Ability to conduct local market research, identify new business opportunities, and prioritize prospects based on strategic value.* Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously.* Knowledge of residential property management processes and terminology is strongly preferred; experience in the Charlotte, NC market is a plus.* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.* Willingness to visit properties and meet with prospective owner clients, attend in-person meetings or events in the Charlotte area, and represent the company in a professional manner.## CompensationThis is a 1099 independent contractor role with uncapped earning potential that grows automatically over time.### How you earn:1. $3,500/month recoverable draw for your first 4 months while you build your pipeline.2. $250 per management agreement signed and onboarded.3. Additional leasing fee commission on each new tenant placement.4. Residual commission on every door in your active book, paid monthly as long as you're with us: * Year 1 of each door: 25% of annual management fee * Year 2: 15% * Year 3: 10% * Year 4 and beyond: 5% permanently**OTE: $60,000--$100,000+**Unlike a traditional sales role, your income here compounds. Every door you bring on continues paying you year after year. A Business Development Manager with three years of consistent production can earn $90,000 or more annually, with a growing residual base that rewards tenure and relationship-building over time. The leads, systems, and operational support are already in place.
