Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices and screening tools to monitor and evaluate patient progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans, focusing on proactive strategies to enhance client outcomes.
• Engage in active and ongoing participation in all licensing and accreditation processes to uphold organizational excellence.
• Serve as a liaison with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate resources and support for clients.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to promote understanding and adherence to agency mission and values.
• Develop relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to identify new collaboration opportunities and secure potential funding.
• Pursue professional growth through attending relevant conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings related to mental health care.
• Support the overall mission of Gotham Enterprises by integrating its core values into your work and promoting a culture of recovery and wellness.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure excellence in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves clients with diverse mental health needs, including individuals managing emotional distress, lifestyle adjustments after substance use recovery, and people facing developmental challenges. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique experiences of each client, contributing to their journey towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory, demonstrating your professional capability and commitment to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirements for this role are clearly outlined, we encourage applicants with experience in outpatient settings, crisis intervention, and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to apply. Compensation and Benefits
