Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, ensuring to include pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans as needed.

• Complete all documentation in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess patient needs as determined by the clinical team.
\n
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement positive behavior support strategies that enhance patient care and outcomes.
\n
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation procedures to maintain high standards of practice.
\n
• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, engaging with state agencies and community partners to foster collaborative care.

• Maintain open lines of communication to ensure alignment with contract standards and promote the agency’s mission in the community.
\n
• Establish and nurture relationships with various agencies and organizations to enhance program visibility and secure potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attendance at conferences and statewide meetings to stay at the forefront of mental health practices.

• Promote and embody the agency’s mission, values, and principles in all interactions and professional conduct.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with emotional health issues, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and persons with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your role will focus on understanding their unique challenges and providing tailored therapeutic approaches to enhance their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a behavioral health field is required for this position.

• Current LMHC licensure from the state board is mandatory.
