Mid-level Corporate Associate

Job Overview A global law firm is seeking a mid‑level Corporate Associate to join its Fintech & Financial Services practice in Redwood City. This role focuses on advising financial institutions, fintech companies, and digital asset businesses on regulatory, transactional, and strategic matters in the evolving financial technology sector. Duties Advise fintech companies, banks, and institutional clients on federal and state regulatory compliance and licensing matters Counsel clients on payment regulation, money transmission laws, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and digital asset issues Support mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and capital markets transactions involving fintech and financial services companies Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including bank partnerships, program management, and technology agreements Monitor and analyze regulatory developments involving federal and state financial regulators Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups and offices on cross‑border and multidisciplinary matters Requirements 3-5 years of experience in fintech regulatory matters, financial services transactions, or related practice areas Experience at a major law firm or financial regulatory agency preferred Strong understanding of payments systems, digital assets, crypto regulation, or emerging fintech business models preferred Ability to manage sophisticated transactional and regulatory matters Strong communication and analytical skills Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Education and Certifications J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials Admission to practice in California and/or New York, or eligibility for admission Skills Strong drafting and negotiation abilities Excellent legal research and analytical skills Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly to clients Strong organizational and project management capabilities Collaborative and client‑focused approach Benefits Opportunity to work in a nationally recognized fintech and financial services practice Exposure to innovative and cutting‑edge financial technology matters Collaborative global platform with cross‑border transactional opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr BCG Attorney Search
