About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources to take on a strategic and hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will be the senior HR leader, providing expert advice to executives on workforce strategy, talent initiatives, and organizational effectiveness. Key responsibilities include directing all HR areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and people programs. The role also involves leading efforts to attract, develop, and retain top talent, as well as guiding the resolution of sensitive workplace issues and partnering with legal advisors on employment-related matters. Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with executive leadership, a strong background in employee relations, investigations, compliance, and benefits administration, and experience working closely with legal counsel on employment matters. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills are essential, and public sector experience is highly preferred. The role requires a confident, approachable HR executive with strong executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels. Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are a plus.
