Senior Accountant

Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong technical skills and exceptional attention to detail to support tax preparation, financial reporting, and client advisory work. Qualifications: BA in Accounting Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm Proficiency in Lacerte, QuickBooks, Excel, Microsoft Office, and solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles Experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns Detail and deadline-oriented Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skill Responsibilities: Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Perform tax planning and research to support clients and identify opportunities for savings or risk mitigation Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions for client accounts, including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and accounts payable/receivable Position Details Full-time or part-time (flexible schedule available) Competitive pay: $35–$45/hour or $70,000–$90,000/year DOE Benefits: Paid time off, paid holidays, and professional development support Location: On-site in Encino, CA Career Growth: Clear opportunity for advancement and potential partnership Company Description The Firm is a well-established boutique accounting and tax firm based in Encino, California.
