Key Responsibilities\n

As the Licensed Master Social Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks aimed at improving student mental health:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand each student’s unique mental health needs and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities tailored to the specific challenges faced by students.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA.

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, school counselors, and other mental health professionals to create a holistic support system for each student.

• Facilitate educational workshops and support groups for students and their families, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve service delivery and holistic care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. By working closely with students, you will not only target these issues but also help to foster resilience and coping strategies that can significantly enhance their academic performance and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York state.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, primarily in providing psychotherapy services.

• Deep understanding of solution-focused interventions and best practice methodologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling productive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
