Kitchen Manager-Shoreline

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead daily back of house Restaurant operations. Some of the Kitchen Manager responsibilities include: overseeing food prep, execution, ordering, inventory, complying with local and federal sanitation and safety standards, as well as meeting our own business standards. To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable managing a diverse kitchen staff and guide them to deliver quality food efficiently and consistently. Ultimately, you will ensure all menu items are properly cooked and served, and that our guests have an excellent dining experience. Leadership and a willingness to continually improve service and daily operations are some of the key skills we are searching for. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Lead the kitchen staff
-Supervise food prep and cooking
-Schedule kitchen staff, and covering when needed
-Price menu items based on product cost goals
-Order food, supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
-Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
-Store food products in compliance with safety practices
-Maintain high sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen Skills we are looking to find in a candidate: -Proven work experience in kitchen leadership roles.
-Experience planning menus and ordering ingredients.
-Knowledge of a wide range of recipes.
-Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
-Conflict management skills.
-Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
-Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
-Would need to have, or be able to obtain an ANSI recognized Food Protection Manager Certification (ie Servsafe) Benefits
