This role involves both on-site and remote service, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first mindset.Primary duties include:Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment: Static transfer switches, Power distribution equipment, Remote power panelsProvide customer support while on site and via email and phoneMaintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero systemProvide emergency response for critical incidentsRegularly scheduled time slots for LayerZero 24/7 incident responseExperience and skills required:Service experience with electric power systems – Required.Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – Required.Ability to read diagrams and schematics – Required.Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs – Required.Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – Required.Electronics or electrical training from military service – Preferred.Clean driving record – Required.Education:Associate degree in electrical field – Preferred.Military training in electronics or electrical systemsWork location:Training to be conducted at LayerZero Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio.Field service work is performed at customer sites through the US and Canada.
