Accounts Payable Specialist

Azenta Life Sciences seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation activities. The role involves processing high-volume transactions, maintaining vendor data, and supporting month-end closing procedures in a fast-paced finance environment.
Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Match invoices to purchase orders and reconcile vendor statements
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs including ACH, wire, and check payments
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities, accruals, and account reconciliations
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Compensation: $66,000-$83,000 base
