Entry Level Chemist
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks an entry-level chemist to perform analytical testing on pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products. The role involves independent operation of chromatographic and spectroscopic instruments, sample preparation, method development, and GMP documentation at a Lancaster, PA laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products
- Operate chromatographic, Karl Fischer, UV/Vis, HPLC, IC, and other analytical instruments independently
- Prepare samples and standards for analysis with minimal oversight
- Set up and validate new analytical processes and execute method transfer protocols
- Document all work to meet GMP requirements and perform routine equipment maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or equivalent directly-related experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
- Proficiency with HPLC, chromatographic systems, and spectroscopic instrumentation
- Knowledge of analytical methods for pharmaceutical analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Familiarity with GMP compliance and laboratory documentation
