Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT

Job Details:

• Evening/Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 8 or 12-hour shift options available
• 4x12 shift schedule available if preferred
• Every other weekend and some holidays required
• 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for both days and nights
• Float position covering multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, and Medical-Surgical ICU, as well as IMC/Progressive care units
• Must have ICU experience with adult and geriatric populations
• IMC/Progressive/General care population experience required as needed
• 5 years of experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience in specialty within the last 3 years required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required
• Must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (two attempts allowed)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required - AHA only
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Required skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, CRRT/CVVHD, IV sedation and paralytics, vasoactive drip titration, ICP monitoring, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
