Our client, a leading provider of eye-care services, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be part of the front office support team, ensuring smooth patient interactions and efficient practice operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a compassionate approach to patient service, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay Range: $20/hr

Fluency in Mandarin is required.

What's the Job?

• Warmly greet incoming patients and complete the check-in process to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and transcribing messages.
• Verify insurance eligibility and audit insurance claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Scan and input documents into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for seamless record-keeping.
• Prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments and manage appointment confirmations and rescheduling as needed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
• Strong ability to build rapport with patients and manage diverse patient needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with automated systems used in optometry or medical practices is a plus but not required.
