Join Oakbend Physical Therapy as a dedicated Physical Therapist (OPT) in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the scenic Leesburg, Virginia. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Leesburg is designed with the patient experience in mind, featuring advanced equipment and therapeutic technologies that support a diverse patient population. Working onsite with a supportive and connected team, our Physical Therapists enjoy a collaborative atmosphere where sharing knowledge and improving patient outcomes is encouraged. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, encompassing a 40-hour workweek, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, develop customized treatment plans, and implement effective therapy techniques for patients referred by physicians.
• Utilize your expertise to treat a range of cases including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service while engaging with patients and their families to enhance their therapy experience and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes using evidence-based practices.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care in accordance with the physician's plan, focusing on measurable improvements in patient function and condition.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and wellness strategies to foster independence and recovery.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes re-entering competitive sports, children experiencing developmental challenges, and adults with chronic conditions requiring therapeutic management. At Oakbend, we prioritize individualized patient-centric care, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, helping them exceed their physical functional goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in utilizing relevant software and electronic health records.
• A strong commitment to building lasting relationships with patients and contributing positively to our organizational culture.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, particularly with a background in orthopedic, neurologic, or sports rehabilitation (OPT). Experience in working collaboratively in a team environment and familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols will also be valuable.

Compensation and Benefits
