Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group counseling sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand client needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Maintain ongoing clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to comply with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, to formulate comprehensive care strategies for clients.

• Participate in regular supervision and staff meetings to discuss best practices, share insights, and ensure cohesive team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a richly diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. You will engage with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, understanding their unique experiences and challenges. Utilizing trauma-informed care principles, you will support individuals coping with issues such as historical trauma, emotional distress, and identity exploration.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid LPCC license in the State of California, with registration from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a similar setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working directly with diverse populations, including trauma survivors and marginalized groups.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or other trauma-informed approaches.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to produce meticulous documentation in compliance with clinic and state standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
