Employee Relations Investigators

I'm currently partnering with a Milwaukee-area organization to support hiring two Employee Relations Investigators on a contract basis. These roles are open due to a retirement and a leave of absence, creating an immediate need for experienced support. There is potential for someone to be hired on with this desirable employer.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who can step in quickly and manage employee relations investigations in a high-volume environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Conduct investigations related to employee conduct, performance, and policy violations
• Interview employees and gather relevant documentation and evidence
• Manage a caseload of active investigations from intake through resolution
• Prepare clear, well-structured investigative reports with findings and recommendations
• Partner with HR and leadership to ensure consistent and fair outcomes

What they're looking for:

• Experience conducting employee relations or workplace investigations
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism
• Strong documentation and report writing skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple cases
• Background in HR, compliance, legal, or related field

Additional details:

• Location: Milwaukee area (hybrid flexibility) - At least 50% remote
• Compensation: $30$40/hour
