Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of infants and toddlers to determine individual needs and tailor appropriate interventions.

• Utilize evaluation results to actively participate in the development and execution of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
\n
• Implement treatment strategies that are aligned with evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Principles, focusing on both individual and family dynamics.
\n
• Monitor and document progress, facilitating open communications with families and team members to adjust strategies as needed.
\n
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations that govern early intervention services, ensuring compliance in practices.
\n
• Develop strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, creating a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.
\n
• Provide coaching and valuable insights to families, empowering them with skills to enhance their child’s development.
\n
• Champion natural environment teaching approaches within family settings, ensuring lessons are practical and directly applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. Working directly with these young children requires a unique set of skills and compassion to support their growth and development. The LCSW will foster relationships with families, understanding the challenges they face, and provide essential resources and emotional support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
\n
• A valid driver’s license, as travel may be necessary for certain community engagement activities.
\n
• At least one year of relevant experience in early intervention with children.
\n
• Demonstrated commitment to incorporating Natural Learning Environment Practices in work.

• Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment, respecting and valuing team dynamics.

Preferred Experience\n

• Bilingual capabilities in Spanish or other languages are highly advantageous, enabling more effective communication with diverse families.

• A proven track record in early childhood education or developmental psychology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
