Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to gather a comprehensive understanding of each client's mental, emotional, and behavioral status.

• Evaluating existing treatment plans and modifying them as necessary to reflect changes in client condition or progress.

• Developing individualized recovery plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitating engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions that foster client participation and self-exploration.

• Monitoring and documenting client progress throughout the treatment journey, ensuring consistent follow-up and adjusting interventions based on feedback.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to create holistic intervention strategies.

• Proactively managing client referrals to additional services, ensuring seamless transitions to specialized care when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will focus on a varied client base, encompassing individuals, couples, families, and groups challenged by mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to addiction disorders. With a client-centered approach, you will tailor your interventions to suit the specific needs of different demographics, focusing on promoting resilience and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency as a mental health counselor, with a commitment to continuous professional development.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• In-depth understanding of mental health conditions, addiction-related issues, and their treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience operating within a telehealth framework, familiar with the unique dynamics and skills that enhance virtual counseling.

• Solid understanding of the best practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, Hillside Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000.
