Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, both via telehealth and in-person, ensuring a supportive and therapeutic atmosphere.

• Assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and backgrounds.
\n
• Document progress and treatment outcomes accurately within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and collaboratively develop approaches for complex cases.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed, maintaining a calm and supportive presence.

At Metrapolis Behavioral Center, we cater to a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health challenges such as trauma, grief, anxiety, and relationship issues. Our practice particularly emphasizes culturally sensitive approaches that respect and integrate the client’s cultural backgrounds and family customs into the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license for the state of Oregon.
\n
• Strong bilingual skills in both English and Spanish, facilitating effective communication with clients.
\n
• At least two years of experience in a mental health setting providing therapy services to diverse populations.
\n
• Sensitivity to the cultural and individual needs of clients, demonstrating respect in all interactions.
\n
• Competency in therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Experience working in community health settings or multi-disciplinary teams.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
\n
• A valid Driver's License with appropriate car insurance to facilitate commuting for any in-person sessions.
\n
• Availability to work at least two evenings per week and one weekend day to ensure client accessibility.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a sign-on bonus, potential for advanced training and professional development, as well as other employee benefits.
