Billing Specialist

Osmose Utilities is seeking an in office M-F Billing Specialist who will prepare invoices using internal programs, inputs electronic invoices in various customer-provided systems, ensures adherence to processes and internal controls, completes agreed upon reports and ad-hoc reporting requests, participates in the monthly revenue accrual process, maintains relationships with customers, and ensures timely payment of invoices. This individual must be able to compile data and reports, prioritize work by importance, and communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

This position is 100% on site.

Responsibilities:

• Must be currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Prepare and process various types of invoices using internal and external applications
• Process and track Credit Memos, ensuring proper authorization
• Process Request for Invoices (RFI)
• Maintain customer invoicing hotline phone line
• Assist finance team with monthly accruals and internal audits

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
• Attention to detail
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required with Excel, NetSuite, and related computer software.
• Team oriented, confidential, flexible, friendly and self-motivated.
• Ability to work and communicate with all levels of employees and management via email, telephone, or in person.
• Ability to learn processes, procedures and software independently and quickly.
