Product Support Assistant

Medline is hiring for a Product Support Assistant! This position is located at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, IL on a hybrid basis. The Product Support Assistant will provide general department support to the product and sales teams.

Job Description

• Assist the product and/or sales team as required. Duties may include coordinating the flow of sample requests from reps, placing sample orders, labeling/re-labeling product, and packing/re-packing items. May require coordinating with the sales rep, account and/or manufacturer.
• Responsible for the proper receipt, stocking and organization of product samples, including all necessary components and literature.
• Identify issues on behalf of the product and sales teams. Escalate issues to the product or sales team.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education

• Highschool diploma.

Additional

• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Outlook for managing customer inquiries, tracking requests, and maintaining effective communication.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Experience with customer service or sales support.
• Preferred experience using ticketing systems or Zendesk.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$20.25 - $29.25 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
